The KIDS Run is organized by the Physical Education teachers from the four Mahwah elementary schools.
Children in grades K-5 are invited to participate in the KIDS Run.
Older siblings are invited to participate in the 5K run or 2 Mile walk.
ENTRY FEE: $15/child
KIDS Run Schedule
Sunday October 23rd at the Mahwah High School Track
9:30am KIDS Run Registration/ Check-In Opens at track entrance
10:15am KIDS Run Warm Up on baseball field led by the P.E. teachers
10:30am KIDS Run Begins on the High School track
HOW OLD DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE KIDS RUN?
The KIDS Run is for children in grades K-5.
*If you are a Mahwah student please be sure to select your school on the Registration form.
Non- Mahwah students are welcome!
HOW FAR IS THE KIDS RUN?
Grades K,1,2 run one lap around the track (0.25 miles).
Grades 3,4,5 run 2 laps around the track (0.5 miles).
Students are grouped by grade, boys and girls are together. The top three finishers for each grade will receive a medal.
The GRADE with the most participation will receive an ice cream truck party!
Must be registered and present on race day to count.
Please note: online registration will close on Wednesday, October 19th. Registration opens at 9:30am on Race Day. There will be limited availability of shirts on race day, so please plan to register in advance to be guaranteed a Kids Run shirt.

The Mahwah Schools Foundation is pleased to support the Mahwah public schools through a Grant program which seeks to inspire innovation, excellence and creativity throughout the school district. The Grant program is a voluntary, application-based opportunity that assists teachers and administrators in providing curriculum enriching activities, projects, programs and items that can not currently be met by the Board of Education budget.
